Mark Logic Principal Technologist to Present Closing Keynote at XML 2007 in Boston

SAN CARLOS, CA — November 20, 2007 — Mark Logic® Corporation, provider of the industry's leading XML content platform, today announced that Mark Logic Principal Technologist Jason Hunter will present at XML 2007 in Boston.
Hunter will deliver the conference closing keynote titled, “You're Darn Right XML has a Future on the Web,” in which he will share stories from the trenches that demonstrate XML's ever–increasing presence both on the web and behind it. He will discuss various content applications built with XML, including MarkMail™, a community-focused searchable message archive service accessible at http://markmail.org . MarkMail allows an organization with large amounts of email, such as Apache Software Foundation, to leverage the immense amounts of collective knowledge accumulated over time through email discussions.
XML 2007 is the world's oldest and largest XML conference devoted to XML and other open data and document technologies. This year’s theme is XML in Practice, focusing on the lessons learned from implementing XML in production–grade systems.

Jason Hunter is Principal Technologist with Mark Logic. He's the author of “Jave Servlet Programming” (O'Reilly Media) and the creator of the JDOM open source project for Java–optimized XML manipulation.

XML 2007 is being held on December 3 — 5, 2007 at the Marriott Copley Place in Boston, MA. Jason will deliver his keynote at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5.
